A lot has happened since last Season of 2012, there is always the Winter pruning, starting usually in Jan., depending upon the weather. In the Spring, comes the Insecticidal Spraying to keep the trees from disease & the apples to mature into healthy fruit, that will be 'delicious' to the taste & healthy for the body. The 'spraying starts in late Spring at regular intervals & continues into Aug., when we stop 'spraying' the fruit, to keep it FREE from any 'insecticide residue', so by the selling time, the apples will have been washed clean from the 'rain from GOD'S Heaven' !
As every Sept., our Gala crop is always the first variety to be picked. It is our biggest crop & one of the most popular varieties in our Orchard. Our customer base has always been by 'word of mouth', and we have always had ver good comments from our faithful customers !!
Wayne & I & Charity #2 look forward to seeing you again this Fall. We have had more of our driveway 'paved', from the main rd. up our hill so it is a much smoother ride to GOD'S Myers' Mountain where Wayne & GOD created this 'orchard', some 23 yrs. ago, approx.
I wil 'post' some photos, when I get the technical problem fixed, hopefully soon. A lot has changed here at the Orchard in 23 yrs., but the fruit is still the same GOOD quality. Wayne & I are older, & don't get to the sales room as quickly anymore, but as usual, please continue to be 'patient', as you have been; it's just the 2 of us taking care of this Orchard, that belongs to GOD !!
